Its been a long strange trip for the band last couple a yrs. but 12 great new songs are on the way. The band will not play many dates for the next couple months, spending most of our time in the studio.

The Lucky Lopez Band will perform for a Corporate Party in Clovis Ca. on Dec. 13,07. This will mark Lucky's first time back sense open heart surgery in Sept. The band will do some new tunes that will be on the new CD and some old favorites.

On Sept.9,07 Lucky had 5 way bypass surgery and is now recovering at home.
Doctor Khwaja and his surgical team worked on Lucky some 4 1/2 hrs. at Saint Agnes Hospital in Fresno Ca. Lucky had 80 to 90% artery blockage,so once again Lucky has lived up to his nick name.
Lucky is working hard to recover. Two weeks after surgery he was walking a mile,2 1/2 weeks after the band had their first rehearsal. Next week Lucky starts cardiac rehab and the band has their first booking after surgery in Dec. Like Tommy Castro wrote (you can't keep a good man down) and now a personal note from Lucky Lopez courtesy of Red Stone Records.

I would like to thank everyone for the calls,emails and prayers. I would like to thank Doctor Sandhu and his team. Doctor Khwaja and his team,and all the nurses and staff at Saint Agnes Hospital. Most of all I want to thank my loving wife,daughter,sons,grandchildren and the rest of our family for giving me a life worth living.

With new members in place and the band going back to their roots, with a more traditional Blues sound. The next CD will reflect just that. With the frist two CDs selling mp3 downloads through 50 online companys and now available to over 2400 record store's around the world the doors are open for this next CD. -------------more news to come-----

Lucky got some props from "AIU" last week. Luckys song 'REEP IT' off his Belt Fulla Blues cd was rated by listeners #23 on the "AIU" online radio network charts last week. This is the 4th week on the charts and still climbing.

Lucky and his new band will show up just about anywhere to showcase the new act, keep on the look out. check out new member photo's

Lucky's music is now under consideration with two award shows for independent artists. One called "American Idol Underground" (produced by Fluid Audio Networks) Lucky's music will be guaranteed airplay on the 'American Idol Underground online radio network, and the other is called "Just Plain Folks"
